On March 23, after the first two 7000TEU container ships built in parallel at Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding were launched, the sixth and seventh ships in the 7000TEU container ship series, H1555 and H1556, built for Singapore Sea Consortium, were launched on the same day. Li Zhizhong, the company's production director; Ekrem Sahin, the SMC ship owner's supervision manager; Gao Shugui, the head of the ABS classification society's on-site team; and other relevant department heads attended the launching ceremony.
The successful launching of H1555/H1556 is a resounding success for the company, marking a strong start after the Lunar New Year holiday. The production management department, together with various production departments, upholding the belief of "starting is the decisive battle," mobilized workers to stay at their posts to complete the rush work plan, improve resource utilization, and actively communicate with the ship owner to promptly address the owner's modification suggestions, ensuring that both ships were launched on schedule.
The two ships launched this time have a 95% aft section reserve and a 100% key path matching rate, providing an important prerequisite for continuous docking of container ships in the dock and laying a solid foundation for the company to further promote the "three cancellations".
