Just after the Spring Festival, CSSC Siseyi (Wuxi) Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Siseyi") signed orders for its shaft-driven power generation business for 8 ships. Among the 8 ships, 2 are classed by the China Classification Society (CCS), and 6 are classed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), demonstrating the strong technological advantages and international attributes of Siseyi's products. Currently, many ships have officially started and are being smoothly scheduled for production.

01. Yin Kai Shipping 7490T Asphalt Carrier

The 7490T asphalt carrier, funded by Yin Kai Shipping (Hainan) Co., Ltd., designed by Zhoushan Wanda Ship Design Co., Ltd., and built by Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., has an overall length of 109.8 meters, a width of 20.0 meters, a depth of 11.2 meters, and a design draft of 7.15 meters. It adopts Siseyi's shaft-driven motor + gearbox + frequency converter solution. The shaft generation system has a rated power of 450kW, and the ship is classed by the China Classification Society (CCS). The ship's power source is a conventional diesel propulsion engine. Through Siseyi's self-owned intellectual property rights shaft-driven frequency converter and filtering equipment, the transformer outputs a stable and constant frequency and voltage power supply, which can generate electricity independently or be connected in parallel with the ship's auxiliary generator set. The shaft-driven motor is connected to the free end of the main engine through a gearbox to ensure that the system can generate sufficient power within the normal operating speed range of the main engine to supply the entire ship's load. The ship serves international routes and can carry liquid petroleum asphalt and petroleum products.

02. Xiamen Zhong Hong 3009TEU Container Ship

The 3009TEU container ship, funded by Xiamen Zhong Hong Shipping Co., Ltd., designed by Fujian Haihong Shipbuilding Engineering Design Co., Ltd., and built by Zhejiang Jinchuan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., is 199.68 meters long, 34.8 meters wide, 17.8 meters deep, and has a maximum deadweight tonnage of 58,400 tons. The ship is classed by the China Classification Society (CCS). This ship is a replicated ship equipped with Siseyi's shaft-driven power generation system, adopting a shaft-driven motor + high elasticity + frequency converter solution. The system has a rated power of 600kW. The shaft generation system uses Siseyi's self-owned intellectual property rights frequency converter control to ensure stable power output and can achieve long-term parallel operation with the main generator. It has automatic paralleling, bidirectional load transfer functions, and can ensure that the steady-state and transient indicators of the power output meet the requirements of the ship's regulations when the main propulsion diesel engine's speed suddenly changes or the load is suddenly added or removed.

03. Shanghai Lidexin 49400DWT Chemical Tankers (6 ships)

Six 49400DWT chemical tankers, funded by Shanghai Lidexin Ship Technology Co., Ltd., and built by Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., are all equipped with Siseyi's through-shaft motor + frequency converter shaft-driven power generation system solution. The shaft generation system has a rated power of 900kW, and the ships are classed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). For high-power shaft generation projects, Siseyi uses its core technology and algorithms in its self-owned frequency converter power modules to specially develop corresponding compensation application algorithms to quickly and effectively solve the corresponding oscillation problems and ensure the full-power operation of the shaft-driven power generation system. At the same time, the shaft-driven power generation system has achieved long-term 100% full-power operation and can stably achieve 100% load shedding and two-stage load increases of 0~50% and 50%~100%, which can significantly reduce the fuel consumption of this type of ship, reduce carbon and nitrogen emissions, and optimize the ship's energy efficiency indicators.

Currently, Siseyi is committed to providing shaft-driven power generation system services for various large transport ships, including container ships, bulk carriers, chemical tankers, ro-ro ships, and asphalt carriers, providing complete solutions for energy saving and environmental protection, reducing fuel consumption, and improving the competitiveness of ships. The actual ship performance has exceeded 160 ships. In 2023, Siseyi strongly supported the global development of green shipping, obtaining "new" orders from multiple countries and classification societies, and receiving strong recognition from overseas customers. In 2024, Siseyi will continue to be based in China and look to overseas markets to better serve global green shipping and sustainable development!
