NanTong LiWei Hoist Knowledge Point Series Lecture (1)
What should the distance be between the first guide pulley of the A-frame and the hoist?

  For grooved drums, the rope capacity is 15 times the drum width; for ungrooved drums, it is 20 times the drum width.
What are the basic parameters of a hoist?
  Answer: (1) Rated pulling force; currently, the standard series has 8 rated pulling force specifications from 1 to 32t;
  (2) Working speed, which is the speed at which the drum winds in the wire rope;
  (3) Rope capacity, which is the length of wire rope that can be wound onto the hoist drum.
  Each hoist's nameplate indicates the rope capacity for a certain diameter of wire rope. When selecting, it must be noted that if the diameter of the wire rope actually used is different from the diameter indicated on the nameplate, the rope capacity must also be checked.
Hoists are widely used in lifting engineering. Hoists are standard products.
  1. Hoists can be classified in different ways
  (1) According to the power method, they can be divided into: manual, electric hoists, and hydraulic hoists. Electric hoists are commonly used in lifting engineering.
  (2) According to the transmission form, they can be divided into: electric reversible (brake shoe type) and electric friction type (friction clutch type).
  (3) According to the number of drums, they can be divided into: single-drum hoists and double-drum hoists.
  (4) According to the rotation speed, they can be divided into: slow-speed hoists and high-speed hoists. In lifting engineering, slow-speed hoists are generally used.
