Yangzijiang Shipbuilding secures a large number of Kamsarmax vessel orders

At the end of September, Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a large-scale private enterprise in China, received an order for two + optional four Eco-Design 82000DWT bulk carriers for delivery in 2015 from the Norwegian shipowner Torvald Klaveness. The shipowner has expanded its order volume at this shipyard. Expansion.

According to foreign news, Klaveness currently has four confirmed vessels under construction at New Yangzi Shipbuilding, with options for up to eight more vessels, recently expanding the scale of new construction projects signed with the shipyard. It is also predicted that the price of each vessel in this new construction contract will be around US$27 million.

In addition, according to local media reports, Klaveness has secured financing equivalent to 55%.
