New Yangtze Shipbuilding wins order for two 82,000-ton bulk carriers

Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding (Location, Comments, News, Recruitment) Co., Ltd. has received an order for 2 Kamsarmax bulk carriers (Ship Type, Shipyard, Buy/Sell) from Greek shipowner Callimanopulos.
It is understood that in April this year, Callimanopulos ordered 3+2 82000 DWT bulk carriers from New Yangzi Shipbuilding, with deliveries scheduled for October and December 2015, and March 2016. This order marks the formal confirmation of 2 optional orders.
       The two Kamsarmax bulk carriers that have now become effective are scheduled for delivery in May and July 2016, with each vessel priced at US$26.5 million. The three similar vessels ordered previously were priced at approximately US$26 million each.
