Recently, the Ship Repair Department of the Marketing Center of CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding and Repair Co., Ltd. received a confirmation letter from NYK Shipmanagement (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., confirming that the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier Gas Aries will arrive at the company for repairs in mid-July.

This is a significant achievement recently made by the ship repair business line of CSSC Chengxi, marking a new phase in the cooperation between our company and NYK of Japan.

The competition for this repair project was extremely fierce. Through unremitting efforts and close tracking for over a month and a half, our company successfully secured the official repair confirmation for the vessel, outperforming numerous competitors. As the first large-scale LPG vessel repair project undertaken by our company, this project mainly involves the replacement of approximately 350 meters of low-temperature stainless steel pipes on the deck, the replacement of approximately 20 tons of low-temperature plates in the ballast tanks, and the repair of a large number of LPG equipment on the deck. The repair and construction difficulty is relatively high.

The successful undertaking of this repair project demonstrates the excellent tradition of CSSC Chengxi people in "working together to overcome difficulties and striving to be the first". The Marketing Center will take this as an opportunity to further increase the undertaking of special ships and large-scale engineering ships, and contribute to the company's transformation and development.
