On September 17, with the successful delivery of the CSB1333#HPSCR system supplied by the company to Jiangmen Nanyang, the cumulative delivery volume of the High-Pressure Selective Catalytic Reduction (HPSCR) system independently developed by CSSC Engine Co., Ltd. of China State Shipbuilding Corporation has successfully surpassed the milestone of 500 units!

Since initiating HPSCR system R&D in 2018, CSSC Engine has dedicated itself to mastering advanced manufacturing techniques with an artisan spirit, continuously strengthening its SCR brand. This commitment has driven significant breakthroughs in production capacity: annual output has surged from under 10 units to over 200 units today, while monthly production has doubled from 8 to 22 units, achieving a 165% increase in annual deliveries. Quality has been consistently enhanced through an efficient dual-drive model of “technology leadership + quality control.” The SCR product repair rate has dropped from 5.6% to 0.3%, while the first-pass weld acceptance rate has risen to 99%. Leading in high-end series exports, certified models by major international classification societies such as ABS, CCS, and BV now account for 35% of production, serving global customers with dedication.

Yichai Company's Steel Structure Party Branch actively promotes the “Excellence in Post, Vanguard in Action” campaign. Leveraging the “Party Member Project” as a key initiative, it advances the “standardization, modularization, refinement, and mass production” of the HPSCR system through a Party-building leadership model where “the branch leads Party members, and Party members lead the masses.” During SCR product project implementation, Party member leaders took the lead, upholding their Party identity and standards. They played exemplary roles in tackling challenges by demonstrating leadership, pooling ideas, rationalizing site layouts, optimizing production processes, refining value stream maps, and deepening lean manufacturing practices. Scientific workflow management boosted production efficiency by 3.5 times. A comprehensive internal control system was established, achieving a delivery qualification rate of 99.8%. Through continuous optimization of the process chain and enhanced core technological innovation, the system consistently meets the personalized demands of shipowners, shipyards, and classification societies.

The successful delivery of the 500th HPSCR system exemplifies the company's commitment to its “dual carbon” strategy and innovation-driven development. By building a “green manufacturing ecosystem,” it not only helps shipowners reduce operational costs but also propels the shipping industry toward low-carbon and intelligent transformation. Moving forward, the company will continue to strengthen its full-industry-chain collaboration capabilities, accelerate the iteration of advanced HPSCR technologies, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the global shipping industry.
