Host: First, please introduce the ins and outs of "Sany Group suing US President Obama."
Reporter: This morning, there was new development in the much-watched case of "Sany Group suing US President Obama." Sany Group will hold a press conference regarding its lawsuit against the Obama administration for the obstruction of its wind power project in the US. The trigger for this event was an executive order signed by Obama on the 28th of last month, citing threats to US national security, to prohibit Sany Group's affiliated company, Ralls, from building four wind farms near a military base in Oregon. Obama ordered Ralls to remove all property and equipment from the site within two weeks and withdraw all investment from the wind power project within 90 days. This project had previously also faced a ban from the "Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States." Therefore, Ralls filed a lawsuit against the "Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States" on September 12th. On October 1st, it filed a lawsuit with the US District Court for the District of Columbia, adding Obama as a defendant and filing a motion to expedite the case.
Host: According to the news we've seen, some media reports say that Sany Heavy Industry is suing the Obama administration. Who exactly is the plaintiff in this lawsuit, Sany Heavy Industry or Sany Group?
Reporter: Previously, many media outlets reported that Sany Heavy Industry was suing the Obama administration. In fact, the plaintiff in this lawsuit is Sany Group and its affiliated company, Ralls, not Sany Heavy Industry as reported by the media. Sany Group is China's largest and the world's sixth-largest engineering machinery manufacturer. Sany Heavy Industry is a subsidiary of Sany Group, listed on the A-share market, whose main business is engineering machinery. Previously, Sany Heavy Industry announced on its official website that it is not involved in any wind power business and has not participated in this case in any form. All wind power businesses under Sany Group belong to the group's unlisted assets. Ralls is an affiliated company of Sany Group, engaged in investment and construction of wind power projects in the US. It is not affiliated with Sany Heavy Industry and is not a subsidiary of Sany Heavy Industry.
Host: What new information do you expect from this morning's press conference?
Reporter: It is understood that Sany Group executives, US lawyers, experts and scholars, and government officials will attend this morning's press conference. In addition to clarifying the facts, they also hope to share experiences and lessons learned with Chinese companies on how to boldly protect the rights and interests of Chinese companies during globalization.
