China's first 5000-ton self-propelled DP grab crane ship delivered

On September 26, the "San Hang Xiang An" vessel, a 5000-ton self-propelled dynamic positioning (DP) crane vessel with the largest single-boom lifting capacity, highest lifting height, and the first to possess DP dynamic positioning operational capability in China, was delivered at Zhenhua Changxing Island Base.
Zheng Bo, Deputy General Manager of CCCC Group Engineering Management Department; Wang Shifeng, Party Secretary and Chairman, and Yin Jianbing, Deputy General Manager of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd.; Yang Huijie, Party Secretary of CCCC Haixi Regional Headquarters; You Ruikai, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries; He Xudong, Chairman, Zhan Jinfeng, President of Tianhai Defense, and Wang Youjun, General Manager of Dajin Heavy Industry; representatives from relevant government departments, industry supervisory units, strategic cooperation units in the industrial chain, and the project construction team, along with other relevant personnel, jointly attended the delivery ceremony of the "San Hang Xiang An" vessel.
At the ceremony, Zhan Jinfeng, President of Tianhai Defense, delivered a welcome speech, expressing gratitude for the support and trust from all parties. He stated that Tianhai Defense, Shanghai Jiahao Marine Design Institute, Dajin Heavy Industry, and CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. have always upheld the concept of win-win cooperation, working closely on multiple major projects, such as the successful transformation of the wind turbine installation platform "Zhengli Qian 19000" and the successful delivery of the 110-meter variable-amplitude piling vessel "San Hang Zhuang 21," all of which are vivid interpretations of unity and collaboration. The successful delivery of the "San Hang Xiang An" vessel today once again demonstrates the strong power of tripartite cooperation. Subsequently, Zheng Bo, Deputy General Manager of CCCC Group Engineering Management Department, Wang Shifeng, Party Secretary and Chairman of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., and You Ruikai, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, successively delivered speeches, jointly congratulating the smooth delivery of the "San Hang Xiang An" vessel.
The "San Hang Xiang An" vessel was invested by CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., designed by Shanghai Jiahao Marine Design Institute, and jointly built by Dajin Heavy Industry and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries. This vessel can meet all current single pile, jacket construction, and booster station overall lifting tasks, truly being a national heavy instrument and strategic national equipment. As the largest variable-amplitude crane single boom in China currently, it can meet the foundation lifting and construction tasks for all domestic wind farms within 25 MW, and also provide installation services for super-large offshore components such as cross-sea bridges, undersea tunnels, and offshore oil projects. The successful delivery of this vessel will provide high-end equipment support for promoting the large-scale development of offshore wind turbines in China, moving towards deep and far seas, accelerating the achievement of the national "dual carbon" energy construction goals, and the prosperous development of the offshore wind power industry.
