Zhaoshang Industrial Haimen Base's 1200T wind power installation platform successfully launched

On April 7th at 2:30 PM, the 1200T wind power installation platform project (CMHI-273-01) built by China Merchants Industry Haimen Base for Jiangsu Hailong Wind Power successfully completed its undocking and launching, witnessed by the shipowner, classification society, project team, and various departments.
The platform is 128m long, 48m wide, 9.5m deep, with a draft of 6.5m. It is equipped with four triangular truss-type legs, each 130m long, has a crew capacity of 120 people, and is classified by CCS. It is designed according to the latest standards of China Classification Society specifications for unrestricted navigation, meeting operational requirements in Chinese waters, the European North Sea, and Southeast Asian waters, with an operating water depth exceeding 70 meters, capable of meeting the lifting demands of future large wind turbines above 15MW.
The CMHI-273-01 project commenced on May 18, 2022, and was delivered on May 30, 2023, with a project duration of 12 months. To effectively ensure the successful undocking of the project, the project team conducted thorough preliminary planning and formulated detailed special plans. With the strong support and assistance from the shipowner, classification society, and various collaborators, the construction team fully demonstrated the “three dry and three colors” work style, being rigorous and pragmatic, racing against time, and striving to improve production efficiency and product quality, ultimately ensuring the smooth achievement of production milestones.
