On November 15th, the first 24,000 TEU container ship built by Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. for Orient Overseas was launched in the morning light. This is another masterpiece by Nantong COSCO KHI, following the successful completion of the country's largest 20,000 TEU container series ships in 2018.

This world's largest green and environmentally friendly container ship has an overall length of 399.99 meters and a molded width of 61.3 meters. Its deck area is equivalent to 3.5 standard football fields, making it one of the largest and highest-capacity container ships in the world. The ship type was independently researched and designed by Nantong COSCO KHI, integrating the latest technological achievements and intelligent means. Its comprehensive performance has reached the internationally advanced level, representing a new generation of ultra-large container ships independently researched and designed by Chinese shipyards.
