  The 2023 International Maritime Exhibition, held in Shanghai from December 5th to 8th, 2023, marks the beginning of a new chapter for the International Maritime Exhibition in its next 40 years. Focusing on the theme of "Innovation, Intelligence, and Low Carbon," the exhibition aims to build a comprehensive platform for communication and cooperation within the international maritime community, while also charting the course for the future development of the international maritime industry.

 

Nantong Liwei Machinery Co., Ltd., established in 2004, is a professional company integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service of large winches, marine platform and ship deck machinery, and mining winches. The company currently has 171 employees and covers an area of 108,984 square meters, including 10 standardized production workshops, warehouses, auxiliary buildings, R&D and office buildings, and complete production and testing equipment.

The company's main products are divided into three categories: various types and series of winches for lifting; marine operation platforms and mooring winches for large ships, pipe-laying ship transfer winches, various types of crane and engineering ship winches, anchor windlasses and tugboat systems; and coal and metal mine winches.

It has established the "Jiangsu Province Marine Operation Platform Mooring Automatic Positioning System" Engineering Technology Research Center, the "Jiangsu Province Marine Platform and Ship Deck Equipment" Engineering Center, and the Jiangsu Province Technology Center. It led the development of ISO21711 "Offshore structures—Mobile offshore units—Anchor chain wheels" international standard and participated in the revision of ISO9089 "Offshore structures—Mobile offshore units—Anchor windlasses for mooring and positioning" international standard. It also led and participated in the formulation and revision of 5 national standards, industry standards, and group standards, including GB/T1955-2019 "Construction winches". In recent years, it has undertaken 1 provincial major scientific and technological support project, 2 provincial achievement transformation projects, 1 national key research and development project, 2 Ministry of Industry and Information Technology high-tech ship brand/application projects. It has obtained 1 national new product, 2 provincial first-of-its-kind major equipment products, 10 provincial high-tech products, 18 authorized invention patents, 1 first prize of the China Ocean Society Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 second prize of the China Shipbuilding Engineering Society Science and Technology Progress Award, and 3 Nantong Municipal Science and Technology Progress Awards.

The company has passed ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001 management system certifications; its related shipbuilding and marine engineering products have obtained CCS, ABS, LR, DNV, BV, and RS classification society certifications; and the company has successively won the Jiangsu Famous Trademark, Jiangsu Famous Brand Product, Jiangsu Province Contract-Honoring and Credit-Keeping Enterprise, and Jiangsu Province Quality Credit AA Enterprise honors.

In recent years, the company has provided high-quality product and supporting services for the construction of national highways, railways, bridges, wharves, power construction, water conservancy, mines, ships, and offshore oil drilling platforms. It has provided large winches for major domestic bridge projects such as the Sutong Bridge built by the China Communications Second Harbor Bureau, and domestic tunnel projects such as the Shanghai Tunnel-Bridge; and it has supplied mooring, positioning, transfer, and traction winches and tugboat systems for many large and medium-sized shipyards at home and abroad, including CIMC Raffles, Keppel Shipyard, ODIM of Norway, Rolls-Royce of Shanghai, and Yantai Salvage Bureau; and it has provided supporting equipment for many mining groups and well construction companies, including China Coal Third Company, Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group, Xinjiang Xinxin, and Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group.
