With the rapid coordination of the town and township levels, on the afternoon of April 12, the heads of Liwei Machinery and Zhonggang Construction led the construction personnel to the checkpoint and immediately started construction.

The weather in April was changeable. It was over 30 degrees Celsius during the day, and the temperature dropped sharply at night with strong winds. The construction personnel overcame the bad weather and worked overnight, successfully installing the Dongchen Expressway exit disinfection spray system within 6 hours.

“Please close your windows, you are entering the disinfection area.” On the morning of April 13, the staff on duty at the Rugao Dongchen checkpoint affixed seals to the passing trucks and told the truck drivers to drive slowly into the disinfection area. The trucks slowly drove into the disinfection area, and 12 spray heads from both sides and the top at different angles continuously sprayed mist-like disinfectant onto the trucks, implementing comprehensive disinfection.
“Previously, manual disinfection required 4 people per shift, 12 people a day, and it took nearly 3 minutes to disinfect each vehicle, and it could not be fully covered. After installing the spray equipment, each vehicle can be disinfected in an all-round way, the disinfection time is shortened to 30 seconds, saving a lot of manpower, and the efficiency is increased by more than 3 times, which is a great help to us!” said the disinfection personnel at the expressway checkpoint.
