The 8th Guangzhou International Maritime Exhibition 2018 grand opening

On December 5, 2018, the 8th INMEX China 2018, Guangzhou International Maritime Trade Exhibition, was grandly held at the Poly World Trade Expo in Guangzhou Pazhou. The exhibition was hosted by the China Shipbuilding Industry Association and the China Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, and co-organized by the Guangdong Shipbuilding Industry Association, the Guangdong Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, and other organizations. Guangzhou Aochi Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and Informa Markets were the organizers.

   The opening ceremony was held at the Poly World Trade Expo in Guangzhou Pazhou.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Yin Xueming, President of the Guangdong Shipbuilding Industry Association and General Manager of CSIC Guangzhou Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. Attendees included Guo Dacheng, President of the China Shipbuilding Industry Association; Li Changyin, President of the China Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers; Wu Qiang, Executive Vice President of the China Shipbuilding Industry Association; Chen Minjun, Executive Vice President of the China Shipbuilding Industry Association; Li Guoan, Executive Vice President of the China Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers; Chen Zhili, Chief Engineer and Confidentiality Supervisor of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited; and others.

   Also in attendance were Mr. Hauke Schlegel, Executive Director of VDMA - German Maritime Equipment and Systems Association; Mrs. Mascha Moebius, Vice Director of the Maritime Department of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy; and others.

   Other attendees included Mr. Olav Akselsen, Director of the Norwegian Maritime Authority; Mr. Erlend Prytz, CEO of the Norwegian Maritime Export Association; Mrs. Marjo Crompvoets, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou; Mrs. Marjan Lacet, Trade Manager of the Netherlands Maritime Technology Association; and others.

   Other attendees included Chen Mansong, Chairman of the Hong Kong Maritime Technology Association; Jiang Qingyang, Secretary of the Guangzhou Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China; Huang Xuehua, Director of the Guangzhou Military Representative Office of the Naval Equipment Department; Zhang Liping, Deputy Inspector of the Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce; Li Xuesong, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport; Mr. Michael Duck, Chief Representative of Informa Markets China; and other leaders and guests.
