In recent years, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has adhered to the principle of stabilizing its main business and healthy operation during its innovative development. On the basis of consolidating its leading position in SWS-bulk carriers and SWS-tankers, it closely monitors market dynamics and customer's personalized needs, attaches great importance to the development of new products and entry into new markets, and has launched the SWS-ultra-large container ship brand through continuous adjustments to its product layout and business strategies. Since the acquisition of Shanghai Jiangnan Changxing Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. in 2013, through the combination of industry and finance, it has signed a contract with CSSC Leasing for the construction of 3 18000TEU ultra-large container ships, which were delivered to CMA CGM for operation in the second half of this year. This broke the long-term monopoly of Japanese and Korean shipbuilders in the construction of ultra-large container ships. Not long ago, on September 9, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding signed a contract with China Ocean Shipping (Hong Kong) Company for the construction of 3 20000TEU container ships. Together with the 6 21000TEU container ships signed this time, the number of orders has broken records again, once again demonstrating Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding's strong brand strength in the international shipping market, reflecting the complete success of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding's transformation and upgrading strategy, and laying a solid foundation for the glorious chapter of the upcoming 13th Five-Year Plan!
