Ou Hua Shipbuilding wins orders for two 80,500 DWT bulk carriers

A subsidiary of Klaveness Ship Holding AS Klaveness announced an order for 2 vessels 80500 DWT of combined bulk carriers at Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.

These two bulk carriers will be delivered in 2016 the second and third quarters of the year and will become Cabu part of the fleet. The contract also includes an option for additional orders.

The shipowner did not disclose the price of the new order, but market sources estimate that each vessel will cost between 3500 and 4000 million US dollars.

It is understood that Ouhua Shipbuilding has recently received 34 new vessel orders, including the aforementioned 2 vessels 80500 DWT combined bulk carriers, 13 container ships, 6 multipurpose vessels, 8 open-top bulk carriers and 4 bulk carriers.
