December 19 In the morning, the world's advanced floating production storage and offloading platform "Hope" 6 Number" ("Dana" FPSO ) was successfully launched by towing and loading at Qidong COSCO Offshore Engineering.
"Hope 6 Number" floating production storage and offloading platform is another cylindrical high-end offshore engineering product designed and built by the company following the design and construction of the cylindrical ultra-deepwater drilling platform "SEVAN 650" series. It adopts SEVAN 650 series, and is another cylindrical high-end offshore engineering product. It adopts Sevan Marine cylindrical concept design, with a diameter of 78 meters and a depth of 32 meters, and is classified by DNV classification society. It has 40 million barrels of crude oil storage capacity, a design daily crude oil processing capacity of 44000 barrels, and oil and gas of 40 100 million standard cubic feet. It has the functions of filtering seabed crude oil, oil-gas separation, water injection, crude oil storage and loading and unloading, and meets UK verification standards (including PED and ATEX ).
"Hope 6 Number" will undergo main deck section hoisting, module construction and hoisting after this towing and launching.
