Guangzhou Shipyard International wins another order for an Eco tanker

On November 27 (local time), Navig8 Product Tankers announced that the company had signed effective contracts with China Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited for two optional Eco-design LR2 tankers.

The two related LR2 tankers are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2016, and their type is the same as the vessels Navig8 previously ordered from Guangzhou Shipyard International.

Furthermore, following the signing of these effective contracts, all optional orders currently held by Navig8 have come into effect. In addition to the LR2 tankers under construction at Guangzhou Shipyard International, the company also has a total of 18 Eco LR2 tankers under construction at Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South Korea.
