China Aviation Dynamics wins orders for two newbuilds

China Aviation Industry Corporation's subsidiary, AVIC Dingheng Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (AVIC Dingheng), has received orders for two new vessels from a German shipowner.

According to TradeWinds, MST Mineralien Schiffahrt Spedition und Transport (Minship) has ordered two 28,000 DWT slurry carriers from AVIC Dingheng, with delivery scheduled for 2015.

In addition, last year, AVIC Dingheng's parent company, China Aviation Technology International Holding Co., Ltd. (AVIC International), jointly ordered two 76,000 DWT Panamax bulk carriers with the German company Minship at AVIC Heavy Industries in Taizhou, China, and joined the shipowner industry. AVIC Dingheng holds a 20% stake in the relevant bulk carriers.
